Masonite Chalks Up 1500 Floors In Solus Supply Deal with Bellway Homes

One year after it signed a solus supply deal with Bellway Homes, Masonite Beams AB has  provided 1500 floors for the national housebuilder. At the end of January this year, the engineered wood products manufacturer had already supplied over 1,000 to the developer, with orders for the remaining 500 floors having been fulfilled since then. Whilst Masonite's beams are already used by a number of regional builders, this is the first  national  housebuilder win for the company since its major relaunch eighteen months ago.

Commenting on the past twelve months work, Bellway Homes' group purchasing manager, Ian Cryer, said:

“Masonite's aim of being a 'worry-free' supplier is working.  We are able to be very much 'hands off', thanks to the combination of good product, good price, and experienced, independent, specialist dealers.”

Of Masonite Beams' nationwide network of seventeen stockists, six experienced distributors are supplying Bellway, including Kingdom Timber Engineering, Hathaway & Hoyle, Harlow Bros, Wyder Engineered Timber Systems, Monmouthshire Timber Supplies and Crawley Parker.

Neil Lewis, sales director of Byggma UK Ltd (Masonite Beams' parent company) said:
