The majority of Masonite I-Joists are supplied as structural components of the Masonite Floor System. This combination of I-Joists, I-Beams and Solid Beams provides builders and architects with the most flexible and efficient way of framing floors in residential and commercial applications yet. The Masonite Floor System makes good use of the low moisture content of engineered wood products to produce stable and predictable solutions with call-backs caused by material movement thereby much reduced.

Unique Separating Floor System

In response to the need for increased housing density, leading to more apartments and flats being constructed, Masonite has developed a unique separating floor system. Most current timber based solutions require the installation of multiple layers of individual components or large amounts of very wet screed poured into a dry building. The Masonite Separating Floor System allows nearly all the floor system fabrication to be done off-site with a simple ‘crane in and forget it’ approach to site installation. This patented dry system means that Masonite offers the simplest and safest way to build a separating floor.

Roof Systems

Masonite I-Joists and Beams can also be used to create great internal spaces within the roof void. Able to be made into self supporting truss components using Masonite K40 board as connectors, Masonite I-Joists can turn more of the roof space into living space.
